Mini Spain haul & news ...

Hey Blogletts,
So I am home from the land of the Spanish, well Majorca really, and have decided to do something new aswell.

I didn't pick up too much over there but I did get 3 things.
First of all from Arta market I got this green dress which I love. It is nice and loose, which was good for the heat, and the neckline/collar is quite pretty so I thbuought hey ho its only 11 euros why not.

Sorry about the mess in the background, I was packing.

Then I got a Lola eyebase. I had never heard of the brand Lola but I thought I would give it a go and so far I am really impressed. It was around 10 euros in a makeup shop.

Finally, there was a band playing in a cafe and they were selling cd's for 5 euros so I got one as they .were soooooo good, can't understand a word of it but still it is so relaxing.

Now for the news .... I am starting a new blog! It will still be about beauty and fashion, I just wanted a fresh start as I felt like this blog isn't going anywhere. I will be posting more regularly and I am very excited for this new venture. I hope you will continue to support me however I completely understand if you think it isn't your thing. The new blog is .... GoodGollyIt'sHolly - http://goodgollyitsholly.blogspot.co.uk/ .

I will still be keeping this blog for posts on other things such as cooking and craft projects!
What are your favourite things to buy on holiday?

Bye for now xx

Chitter chatter

Hey Blogletss,
I have not done a post in ages AGAIN. Rather sorry, I have been a little busy looking at university options eeekk! Time does fly.
Also once again I am ill, jeez you'd think I'd stop being such a sick person but no, so getting out of bed feels not so good. However as soon as I'm feeling chipper, I will rush up to get a post up for you blogletts.
Hope you don't mind too much, if there is anything you want me to do, I will take note and try and fulfill your request.
Bye for now xx

London Haul - Camden Market & Westfields

Hey Blogletts,
So to celebrate no more exams ... till January .... we descided to take a trip to London. We thought it would be nice to go to Camden Market, WOW , I thought it was going to be an up and down market but boy was I wrong. It is HUGE and scattered everywhere, we didn't buy things really from stools but more from the little shops.
First of all I picked up a little headscarf from a retro vintage shop, I have wanted one for a while and loved this pattern so couldn't resist.

Then I have been searching for a Joy Division T-Shirt ever since I saw Jen from 'clothes encounters' wearing one, and finally my quest is over. I love this and think it will look great with leggings.

So it is my Mum's birthday soon and she is into old niknak type things so when I saw this sign I had to get it for her.

Then we moved on to Westfields, the second best place in the world, after Selfridges.
Now I had a traumatic time in Forever 21, my friend takes hours to try things on and look so hot, flustered and sore feet does not = happy Holly no no no. But I did find this jacket which was a bit contraversial. I hated it on the hanger but thought to myself I need a jacket I have none so tried it on and it was love. It is a cross between a jacket and a blazer so can be dressed up or down, sooo versatile.

Then this is where the damage was done, Zara. I love Zara, it is my favourite shop and I want to live in there, the clothes are nice, the layout is nice and the staff are nice - important in my books.
Now there has been a jacket flying round Youtube and the Blogging world and I thought well maybe I should look out for it but in doing this I found something way better, oh yes. It is a denim jacket, which I have wanted for ages, with p-leather sleeves. I am in LOVE. It was £40 but in my eyes well worth it. I may have freaked out the cashier by saying to my friend 'I am going to live in it and even patch it up if it breaks.' She also got a jacket, not the same one, and we were sooo happy.

Anyway I hope you enjoyed this haul.
Anything on your wishlist for this month?

Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo - Eternal Gold

Hey Blogletts,
So there has been a huge craze over these products by Maybelline so I thought I would jump on the bandwagon and get one, I tried to resist but I couldn't for much longer.
For those of you crazy cats that don't know what these are, they are a gel-cream shadow, quite comparable with MAC paint pots but at a fraction of the price, yay.
So I picked up the colour 05 - Eternal Gold, which is a shimmery gold champagne colour, perfect light colour for summer!

This lasts a long time, suggested by the 24hr in the name. I'm not too sure it would last 24hrs as I don't tend to wear my makeup for longer that 5-6 hours but it lasts pretty well for that time. These are perfect bases for powder shadows or look great on their own. As I'm a bit paranoid that my eyeshadows are going to crease, so I will always set cream products so I am not too sure whether it will crease or not however I have read other reviews and most people say they do not crease.

Overall this is such a good product and I really reccomend these to everyone, also got my eyes on the shade 'on and on bronze'.
I hope this has been helpful and let me know what your favourite cream eyeshadow is.
Bye for now xx

Magazine of the month #2 - Glamour

Hey Blogletts,
So a while a go I did a 'Magazine of the month' post on where you got a free soap and glory mascara with InSyle I think.
Well it is not that time of the year where Glamour teams up with Benefit, last year they had benetint and highbeam, this year there is a choice between 'bad gal lash' mascara, 'that gal' primer or 'the porefessional' primer.

Well I have wanted to try the porefessional for a long time now so of course I jumped at the chance. It is a pretty incy sample however the full size bottle isn't that big anyway so it isn't a big deal.

I may have gone a little crazy and have got 3 ..... but it my defence the magazine is only £2 compared to the product being at £23 ish.
Hope this has been helpful
