Bath Time

Hey Blogletts,
It has just been one of those days. My guinea pigs woke me up at 4:30, my school was open late so I was only in for 2 lessons of which I did no work, this made me tired so when I tried to sleep grrr my neighbours were drilling and generally not feeling great got another cold thanks to la boyfriend and my eye is a bit swollen and irritated so no eyemakeup!
So I descided to give up and end today with a nice bath and felt the need to photograph it.

So in my bath I used Radox muscle soak bath salts. I'm not sure why 4 pictures of it were needed but aparently they were.

There is not much point to this post just thought that I would share my miserable day with you.

Bye for now xx

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow

Hey Blogletts,
So woke up to quite a bit of snow, around 6-8 inches. So before I gave in to the temptation of running round like a loonatic I thought I would photograph it so you could enjoy it as much as I did before the madness.

Hope you enjoy the snow where you are if you have it , please be safe and careful.

NOTD - nude glitter

Hey Blogletts,
Though I would just share what my nails look like today!

The base nude colour is Oh So Nails in Biscuit from Next.
This is actually pretty good and is opaque after 2 coats, also doesn't chip all that easily.

For the glitter I used OPI Servin' up Sparkle with huge smatterings of glitter.
I really like this look as it gives a bit of excitement to plain nails.

Magazine of the month - Elle march edition

Hey Blogletts,
So welcome to a NEW section of my blog. Every month I will be posting my favourite choice of magazine to buy that month. There are so many different magazines and each one can be slightly pricey so to prevent you from buying them all and spending a fortune this can help you to narrow your choice saving you money.
So this month I have chosen Elle magazine. First of all it comes with a FREE Soap and Glory mascara (which I have done a blog post on) which retails at £10. This magazine costs £3.90 which may seem expensive but it has a £10 mascara and it is a huge, whopping thing.
This is a good magazine as it is filled with fashion, style tips, beauty, perfume sheet samples, foundation sample and tons more! I really like it and recomend it!

Plus it has Alexa Chung on the cover *Bonus*

*My favourite designer and such a cute advert soooo going on my wall*

It is filled with Spring pastel trends and others.

Hope this helps!

Creative Moment - Homemade 'Z' palette

Hey Blogletts,
So I have many eyeshadows that I love but just don't use as I generally dont like the other colours in the set or they are just generally in abnoxious packaging. Therefore I decided to makeshift my own famous Z palette. To do this you need an eyeshadow, lighter, sharp tool, magnetic strip or bluetack and a magnetic tin e.g. pencil case.
Step 1. CAREFULLY place the lighter a few centimentres away from the eyeshadow and light, gently swaying it
Step 2. Using the sharp tool CAREFULLY dig and scrape around the outside, gently teasing the eyeshadow from the container (this step may take a while) (please be careful of the fumes the plastic may give off, not good for you be in a well ventilated area and DO NOT inhale)
Step 3. Place the magnetic strip or blue tack onto the bottom of the shadow, makeing sure any previous glue is scraped off.
Step 4. Arrange the various shadows in the palette how you want to and you have your makeshift palette!

This is what mine looks like ...

The tin I used was limited edition from Bodyform. I'm not embarrased to say body form sell feminine products and like I was really going to carry them around in a tin, no way. So instead of letting it go to waste tada. As you can see I have a variety of eyeshadows and one blush in this palette. This will now hopefully encourage me to use these products more and makes it a lot easier for when I travel.

be very careful with the the eyeshadows as they break and dent so easily especially if they are soft, hence a few dents but not enough to throw, they are still useable.

Hope you find this helpful and please be careful with this!!

Soap and Glory - Thick and fast super volume mascara

Hey Blogletts,
So in Elle magazine this month you get a free Soap and Glory mascara, win.

When pulling the 'wand' out of the tube it is pretty stiff which is good as it makes sure all the excess product is off to prevent MAJOR clumping.

As you can see the wand is pretty huge with brush like brissles not plastic in a spiral shape.

I actually really like the effect it gives. It really lengthens and volumises my lashes and even curls slightly (my lashes have not been curled in these pictures).
It does however make them slightly more clumpy then I would like but if you like clumpy lashes this is for you, also it doesn't make them crispy. So far it hasn't smudged even though it's not waterproof which is good as I have a real problem with mascaras smudging so usually have to go for the waterproof option however this hasn't smudged as of yet so yay.

Overall I really like this mascara and reccomend getting Elle magazine (up and coming blog post about) as I'm not sure how much it retails for I'm guessing around £10. AND I will be re-purchasing.

Sorry

Hey blogletts,
Bit of a lack of posts in the past week I have been pretty ill. As soon as I am better I will be back on the posting wagon again and having time off has allowed me time to think of post ideas.
Hopefully I will start again at the weekend so hope you enjoy
